Like every language, music has its own grammar, its rhetoric, its vocabulary.
Communication, in every form, requires an effort from those who want to deliver their message and an equally great effort from its recipients.
The concert is that mystical place where communication takes shape. Sometimes it reaches its climax in thunderous applause, other times in a silence so deep that it touches the most intimate chords of the human soul.
It is for these moments that I love to play.
